Robert and Fern Zoeteman established the BAR-RZ program in the late 60's.  The Ranch borders the Old Man river and also runs on part of the RCAF WWII PEARCE Training Base.  Over the years Robert and Fern built the Herd to it present day which consists of 100 females and keeps back 15 to 20 replacement heifers each year.  The Ranch at present day is managed by Robert and Fern's son Stuart and his wife Sherri.  In 2014 Robert was inducted into the Alberta Hereford Association Honour Roll.  The Zoetemans sell bulls and replacement females by private treaty.
