Bred Heifers
BAR-RZ 308 MADONNA 51D (Feb 23/2016) BW 85 lbs. - A very attractive, complete, deep bodied female from our “Kootenay 308” sire purchased from Durbin Creek out of Wyoming. Sweet fronted yet strong and wide with pigment and a very quiet disposition. Shouldn’t leave BAR-RZ, but should make a great addition to anyone’s program. The dam “12S” raised a flawless full sister again this year. Exposed to BAR-RZ 56X Devior 38D from April 21 to July 18. Preg checked safe to calve mid February. DNA applied for.
BAR-RZ 20Z DIAMOND 77D (Mar 17/2016) BW 88 lbs. - A very eye catching, long bodied, feminine daughter from our “Zeus 20Z” sire. She has the style, correctness, strength and pigment that one is looking for. The “Zeus” daughters in production have very nice udders with short teats. Her dam was purchased from McCoys and has been a great addition to our program. Exposed to BAR-RZ 56X Devior 38D from April 21 to July 18. Preg checked safe to calve mid February. DNA applied for.
Heifer Calves
Selling choice 2 out of 3 “Tahoe 23B” heifer calves that were Champion Pen at Hardisty in August.
The “Tahoe 23B” heifers look to be the right kind and should go on to make tremendous cows. The 3 dams all have great capacity, feet and udders and come from proven productive cow families that wean calves at or near the top consistently. The 3 heifers have all been DNA applied for!
